Videocracy (2009)

A documentary describing modern Italy, the political repercussions of Silvio Berlusconis media-empire and how it influences public opinion. Videocracy depicts ordinary and not-so-ordinary people of Italy, consumed with celebrity and money-worship. In the face of recent rising negative opinion, charges of corruption, mafia-ties and the P3-scandal (attempts to coerce high-court judges not to prosecute Berlusconi), it is a very informative and well made documentary.
